Fruity Feast

This is a great Idea to get kids eating healthy.

Get all sorts of fruit (eg. paw-paw, apple, banana etc.) and cut up. Arrange in patterns. Below is an example:

Cut two slices of Banana (you can leave the skin on to make it more interesting) for the eyes, a slice of watermelon or paw-paw for the mouth, half a strawberry for the nose and to add a salady touch to it you could put some curly parsley for the hair.

Another Snack

Here is another snack post that the Children will enjoy. Great for Party's.

Swamp Anacondas
Make 2 or 3 lots of green Jelly, depending on the depth of 'swamp' you want. Pour into a large Baking Tray and put in the fridge until half set. When half set, drop in a small handful of lolly snakes around the 'swamp'. You could any other Lolly's in like rocks or plants to get it more interesting. Then put it in the fridge til thoroughly set. Cut into generous slices and serve.

See ya again soon!

Here are a few snack Ideas. I will get 5 posts of this type up so if you have any ideas, could you please comment on any of these posts.

Snack Idea #1: Apricot logs

Blend up some dried apricots then mold the mixture into log shapes. Roll in dessicated coconut and refrigerate until chewy. Enjoy!

Snack Idea #2: Dried Fruit salad

Cut about a handful each of dried apricots and dates in half. (If the dates have seeds, remove these before continuing). Add a handful of sultanas or raisins and any other dried fruit (eg. dried apple, banana, pineapple, pawpaw etc.). For some variety you could add some nuts, crushed or whole.

OK, see you soon,
