Raw food "Colourful Cabbage" salad

FINALLY! RAW FOOD! This one is a cabbage salad from "Rejuvenate your Life" by Serene Allison.

COLOURFUL CABBAGE SALAD
SERVES A LOT

INGREDIENTS
1 Finely chopped medium red cabbage
1 Finely chopped medium green cabbage
2 or 3 apples cubed
Approx. 1/2 cup raw apple cider vinegar
Approx. 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Fresh black pepper
1 TBS. sea salt
2-3 TBS. poppy seeds
1/4 cup pure maple syrup

Chop Cabbage by hand. Throw in everything else. Mix around a few times Taste and adjust flavours. It should have a sweet edge with a vinegary and zesty tang.

Chicken-in-a-hurry

Hi again! Here I have yet another from "Simply to good to be true"! This one is called chicken in a hurry.

CHICKEN-IN-A-HURRY
SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
1 BBQ Chicken
1 pkt cream of chicken Soup
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup stock water (optional)
1 x 500g pkt mixed frozen vegies
1 diced onion
1/2 teaspoon basil

Remove chicken from bones. In a large saucepan cover vegies and onion with boiling water, cook for 5 minutes.drain, set aside - keep 1/2 a cup of the stock water(may be needed later). In the same saucepan combine milk, soup mix and basil, bring to boil. Add vegies and chicken, mix together. Cook 3 minutes, if mixture is to thick add left over stock water till the right consistency is achieved. Serve with cooked rice, pasta or potatoes.

Tuna Mornay

Hi again! I've got another recipe from "Simply to good to be true" by Annette Sym. By the way, can you please write a comment after you have tried any of the recipes to tell other veiwers how it tasted. If you feel like it you could even give it a rating (eg. *** = 3 stars)!

TUNA MORNAY
SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
2 x 225g can tuna drained
2 cups milk
2 Pkts single serve mushroom soup
2 teaspoons margarine/softened butter
1 tablespoon flour
1 small onion diced
1 teaspoon chicken stock powder
1/2 teaspoon tarragon (optional)


Microvawe onion in a little water on high for 5 minutes. Melt Margarine in medium saucepan, add flour, mix well. Gradualy beat in milk(use whisk to avoid lumps) until white sauce is made. Add soup, stock and mix well. Stir in tuna, onion and tarragon. Bring to Boil, Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve with boiled rice or pasta.

Minestrone Soup

Hi there! Heres a recipie theat I found in a cookbook called "Simply too good to be true" by Annette Sym

MINISTRONE SOUP
SERVES 10
Ingredients
2 litres (8 cups) water
1 cup each of sliced celery, small Brocolli florets, cubed carrot, cubed zucchini an diced potato
1 onion chopped
1 x 410g can chopped tomato
1 x 440g can drained washed Kidney beans
1/2 cup (60g) raw small pasta noodles
1/2 cup tomato paste
4 teaspoons beef stock powder
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 cup chopped parsley
salt and pepper to taste

Place all ingredients into a boiler or large saucepan. Bring to boil. Simmer 20-25 minutes or until vegtables are tender. To avoid pasta sticking, stir occasionally.
